Project and Submission Requirements
To be eligible for judging, all teams must meet the following requirements:
🛠️ Project Requirements
- Your project must be built during the hackathon timeframe
- You must use the Gemini API from Google in a meaningful and clearly demonstrated way
- Your solution must relate to food and/or nutrition
- The project must be functional (a working prototype is sufficient)
- You may use any programming language, framework, or tools

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection
All projects will be evaluated by a panel of judges based on the following criteria:

🤖 Use of AI (Gemini API) – 25%
How effectively the Gemini API from Google is integrated into the project. Judges will look for meaningful, well-implemented AI features that enhance the overall solution.
💡 Innovation & Creativity – 20%
Originality of the idea and how creatively the problem is approached within the food and nutrition theme.
🍎 Relevance to Food & Nutrition – 20%
How well the project addresses real-world challenges or opportunities related to food, health, or nutrition.
🛠️ Technical Implementation – 20%
Quality of the build, functionality, and complexity of the solution.
🎨 User Experience & Design – 10%
Ease of use, interface design, and overall user experience.
📣 Presentation & Demo – 5%
Clarity and effectiveness of the demo video and project explanation.
